From her picturesquely sited studio among the Cedars, Firs, Garry Oaks, and Arbutus trees of Saltspring Island on Canada’s Pacific coast, Gloria Valencia draws on her deep connections with her ancestral homeland in the American south-west to create unique collections of silver jewellery and accessory pieces.  Her original designs carry echos of traditional artistic motifs of the south-west, and often feature beautiful semi-precious stones that she gathers on her journeys.
